TEACHING
At Boise State University, I teach Child Development (PSYC 309), Adolescent & Adult Development (PSYC 310), Multicultural Perspectives on Children and Families (PSYC 419), and Research Methods (PSYC 321).
I also enjoy teaching at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, working with students aged 55 and over. I'm also a strong proponent of Service-Learning, as it connects academic material with real-world application and community engagement.
To date, I've had the privilege of teaching thousands in the classroom and mentoring nearly 100 students in the Human Development & Ecology Lab and through teaching assistant positions.
The most rewarding part of my job as a teacher is connecting with students, shaking things up with interactive activities, and fostering lively discussions!
